Audio testimony of Boris Blum, born in Saratov, Russia in 1913. He describes living in Warsaw at the time of German invasion; seeing Jews snatched for forced labor; educational and cultural activities; delivering coal to German homes outside ghetto walls; stealing food; the suicide of Czerniakow. He recalls the Warsaw Uprising; being jailed in Pawiak prison; the ghetto burning; Lithuanian and Ukrainian ghetto guards in German uniforms. He details his transport to Majdanek, where did useless work, and the colors of prisoners? triangles; his transport to Skarzysko labor camp, where he worked in ammunition factory; hiding an injury; trained SS guard dogs. He was transported to Buchenwald, then Dachau/Allach.
