Id no. 2005.A.168, Booklet, Pamphlet, Leaflet
Subject(s):  Anti-Semitism, postwar
This booklet was published by the Novosti Press Agency Publishing House in 1972 in Moscow. It misrepresents and distorts facts about Soviet Jewry in an effort to counter arguments made by those who advocated for the rights of Jews to practice their religion and to leave the Soviet Union.

The artifact donor, Steven Barry Friedman, was active in the Save Soviet Jewry movement. This pamphlet was sent to him in the early 1970s after he wrote to officials in the USSR in regards to freedom for Soviet Jewry.
