Id no. 2005.A.166, Booklet, Pamphlet, Leaflet
Subject(s):  Anti-Semitism, postwar
This pamphlet was published by Novosti Press in Moscow and describes the history of Jews in the USSR. The artifact donor, Steven Barry Friedman, was active in the Save Soviet Jewry movement. This pamphlet was sent to him in the early 1970s after he wrote to officials in the USSR in regards to freedom for Soviet Jewry.

This pamphlet was written by the Soviet government. It misrepresents and distorts facts about Soviet Jewry in an effort to counter movements that advocated for the rights of Jews to practice their religion and to leave the Soviet Union.
