The Jeep Board Instruction Book was printed in New York in 1944 and belonged to Leon Halperin who served in the US Army during WWII. It contains instructions and diagrams for 25 different games. Jeep Board books were popular among many soldiers during World War II.
Leon immigrated to the US from Romania with his mother in 1927, although his mother died during the trip. Leon?s father, Abraham, had previously come to the U.S. from Romania in 1913. Abraham worked in the garment industry and Halperin was a postal clerk before joining the Army.
