This domino set was made in the US and was used by Leon Halperin while he served in the US Army during WWII. Inside the red box is a set of Double Six dominoes, with an angel on the back of each one.
Leon immigrated to the US from Romania with his mother in 1927, although his mother died during the trip. Leon?s father, Abraham, had previously come to the US from Romania in 1913. Abraham worked in the garment industry and Leon was a postal clerk before joining the Army.
