Myer Wagshlag, a forced laborer in the German-run Hasag ammunitions factory, made this ring for Tzirl (Cyrla/Celia) Zelasna. Myer and his brother David were jewelers before the war. The ring has Zelasna?s initials engraved on it, a C superimposed on a Z, and says ?Hasag 1944.? After spending years wearing inmates? clothing and shoes, it was treasured as a personal possession.
