This strip of textile with the number 58150 was designed to be sewn onto a prisoner?s uniform. The donor most likely acquired the strip of cloth during her time as a prisoner at Auschwitz-Birkenau. After surviving several selections at Birkenau, Kroo was eventually sent to Ravensbrueck and then to the Lippstadt labor camp in Germany.
