Jonathan V. Plaut's father's US Army chaplain's flag hangs behind him on the wall. A sukkah is a temporary booth built in the fall for the Sukkot holiday. The etrog (citron) and lulav (palm fronds with willow and myrtle branches) are used during the holiday.
