Zuzana drew this picture while living in the youth section of Terezin from 1942 to 1945. An adult who took care of the children there wrote sentences in Czech, which the children illustrated. It depicts a girl playing with a doll, a girl playing with a ball, a cupboard, a table, and a chair. The text translates as, “Ha, ha, thus it goes from morning through the day.”
