This yellow cloth star was worn by Judith Aklipi. During the war Judith and her eight children were deported from Solveni, Moldavia (then, Romania) to Transnistria. Later, they were deported to the Ukrainian town of Nazaroitz. Aklipi was killed at the age of 36. Three of her eight children survived. Her husband Abraham survived a forced labor camp and immigrated to Mandate Palestine after the war.
