This second film about the 1936 Olympic games in Berlin used the games to celebrate the Nazi ideal of the ?Aryan race.? It includes scenes of depict Jesse Owens, an African American, winning the gold medal in track and field.
The two-part film was the first documentary made about the Olympics. The film was directed by Leni Reifenstahl, famous for her Nazi propaganda film ?Triumph of the Will? and her friendships with Hitler and Goebbels.
