Lazar found out that one of his sister's was in a clinic in Prague, but shortly before he could get there, she died of an infection. His childhood friend Zolton (Lipot) Farkas traveled to their Romanian hometown of Satu Mare to gather any information he could, and returned home unable to find any close relatives for either family.
