Alfred and Josef Lamzek, twin infants, with a chalked sign with their names. All of the children in the UNRRA children's home in Indersdorf, Germany were photographed in an attempt to locate relatives.
Upon arrival at the Children?s Center, premature twins Josef and Alfred Lamzek, were extremely underweight for children at 3 months of age. After three weeks of careful observation, special food and care, as well as blood transfusions, the staff was unable to save them.
