This flyer, distributed in the United States during World War II, requested clothing donations for people in the Soviet Union. In Yiddish and English the flyer says, "Soviet Russia together with the democracies of the world is waging battle against the Nazi hordes...We must help them with open hands and with warm hearts...The Jewish Labor Committee has obtained permission to send an unlimited amount of clothing...and medicaments to Russia on Soviet ships leaving from American ports..." On the back are lists of local stations for clothing collection in Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island.
