Pohek was a non-Jewish social worker in Austria before the war. She returned to Austria with UNRRA after the work and worked with Displaced Persons at Bad Gastein. She then went to Geneva to oversee UN work for seventeen countries until 1954.

This album was assembled to thank her for her work at Bad Gastein.
