This booklet was produced by the Zionist Organization of America in 1946 as part of the political campaign to influence world opinion to establish a Jewish State in Palestine. It was written by Joseph Greenstein, with the title "Let My People Go" and the subtitle "A Passover Portfolio for the Zionist District" this guide contains sections on all aspects of Passover, as well as its connection with Zionism. The Zionist Organization of America was formed in 1897 and has continued to be one of the leading Zionist groups in the USA. On the front cover of the booklet is a copy of the original proposed seal of the USA. First suggested by Benjamin Franklin in a committee alongside Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, its shows Moses standing on the shore of the Red Sea as Egyptians drown. Although it was not eventually used, Jefferson took the seal's words, "Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God" as his personal motto.
