This introductory language book was designed to teach Yiddish to Russian speakers. It shows Hebrew/Yiddish letters and their Russian transliterations. There are also words in Yiddish accompanied by illustrations. The introduction to the book, in Russian, explains that the Hebrew alphabet has 28 letters, goes from right to left, and is used to write the Jewish language of Yiddish. It was published by Malish press in Moscow in 1990.
